Redeeming Gift Certificates

Were you gifted a Commonwealth Massage Therapy Gift Certificate?  Congratulations!

Based on which certificate type you were gifted, you may need to book slightly differently via my scheduling on MassageBook.
Below, you'll find information on how to redeem and book your massage session online.

I was gifted... A certificate with a specific massage type and session length.

Example: Therapeutic Deep Tissue Massage Therapy 60-minutes

When you arrive at the "Booking" page of my MassageBook listing, there are three category options: Bodywork Services, Spa Services, and Special Offers.  Select "Bodywork Services" to find my massage services listed by type.  There, you will be able to scroll up or down to find the various session lengths for each massage type.  Click "Select" to take you to the next screen where you will be able to select the date and time of your booking.  After that step, you will be asked to either create a new account or look up your current account via your email address.  When it comes to the payment step of the booking process, enter the number listed on your gift certificate.  First time clients with me will be required to pre-pay for the service, while returning clients will be given the option to pre-pay or pay at time of session.

**When booking future appointments, be sure to NOT click the "Sign In" tab at the top right of your screen.  MassageBook may think you're logging in as a practitioner rather than as a client.  It is best to wait until prompted during the booking process to enter your log-in infomation.

I was gifted... A certificate for a series of multiple massage sessions at a specific length each.

Example: Gift of 3, 60-minute Massages

When you arrive at the "Booking" page of my MassageBook listing, there are three category options: Bodywork Services, Spa Services, and Special Offers.  Select "Special Services" to find the various series options for multi-session massage packages.  (My apologies that they are not listed completely in order - I am working with MassageBook to remedy this.)  Once you have found the series option that matches what was gifted to you, click "Select" to take you to the next screen where you will be able to select the date and time of your first appointment booking.  After that step, you will be asked to either create a new account or look up your current account via your email address.  When it comes to the payment step of the booking process, enter the number listed on your gift certificate.  First time clients with me will be required to pre-pay for this first service, while returning clients will be given the option to pre-pay or pay at time of session.

**To book future sessions within your series of massages, you will need to continue to book a session as a series from the "Special Offers" tab and NOT the "Bodywork Services" tab.  This will ensure that the session is deducted from your package.  The easiest way to do this is to click the "Log In to your account" option (NOT the "Sign In" tab at the top right - the system may think you are a practitioner signing in, instead of a client) to locate your already redeemed series of massage sessions.

I was gifted... A certificate for a specific dollar amount.

Example: $150 Gift Certificate

This gift certificate type has the most flexibility!  You can either book a single session, or put the gift towards the purchase of a series of sessions.  Please review the booking instructions above for both options to familiarize yourself as you deicde which massage option is best for you.

**If this dollar amount certificate was gifted to be split between two individuals, the certificate will be connected with whomever books first.  In order to use the certificate on the second individual, please contact me directly to book that appointment.  From the client side of things, MassageBook will not allow a certificate to be split, but I am able to override this from behind the scenes.
