4/20/2020: Covid-19 Closure & Updates
As some of you may know, Governor Northam has extended his executive order for mandatory closures of non-essential businesses through May 8, 2020.
As we have seen from our data and models, social distancing is working, and we are slowing the spread of this virus. But it is too early to let up. By extending this order to keep certain businesses closed or restricted, we can continue to evaluate the situation and plan for how to eventually ease restrictions so that our businesses may operate without endangering public health. - Gov. Northam
For the latest information, you may visit the Governor's website HERE.
I am fully abiding by these orders. For those of you with appointments between now and May 8th, you should have received a cancellation email notice for your massage session. Any pre-paid sessions have returned to your account for future use.
At this time, because there is so much uncertainty as to when I will be able to safely re-open my doors, I have temporarily turned off online scheduling. Once I have a re-opening date, you will be informed and the feature will be available to you.
Online gift certificates remain available for purchase.
I am keeping my website homepage up-to-date with information, so I encourage you to visit www.commonwealthmt.com for the latest updates about my closure.
With the uncertainty surrounding this coronavirus, I suspect that mandatory closures will continue to be pushed further back. My personal guess is that I will remain closed until at least June. Because of this, I will not be re-scheduling any cancelled appointments until I have a set re-open date. Honestly, it's rather depressing and laborious to continuously reschedule the same appointments, so please keep an eye on your inbox for any cancellation notices in regards to your upcoming appointments. As always, please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!
How Can I Help You?
While I may not be able to physically work with you, I want to know if there are resources I could provide that you may find helpful during this stressful and unusual time.
Perhaps ...stretching guides? Self-massage techniques? Bad jokes? New recipes? Mindfulness meditation? Suggestions for a weighted blanket? Craft ideas? You name it! I want to hear from you!
