**Updated 10/30/2020** Hi Friends,I am writing to let you know that I have, with much preparation, decided to slowly begin reopening my doors.  After consulting the guidelines and recommendations from a multitude of professional organizations in the massage world (ABMP, Healwell, OSHA, CDC, Governor Northam's guidelines, etc.), I feel that I have in place what is necessary to begin this transition as safely as possible. Hi Friends, As some of you may know, Governor Northam has extended his executive order for mandatory closures of non-essential businesses through May 8, 2020. As we have seen from our data and models, social distancing is working, and we are slowing the spread of this virus. But it is too early to let up. Hi Friends, I am writing to touch base and let you know that, although Governor Northam has included “massage centers” as one of the businesses that will be allowed to re-open during Phase One of his “Forward Virginia” plan, I have come to the decision that I will not yet be re-opening my massage therapy office.  It wasn’t an easy decision and I know it may not be what you wish to hear - certainly we all could use some comforting touch, pain relief, and stress relief right now. Hello Friends, Amid all the COVID-19 coronavirus concerns, I am, at the time this email is being sent, still open for business and working with clients. I am taking precautions by continuing to remain diligent with sanitation and safety both in and out of my office. On any given day, I only have a maximum of 4-5 clients that I work with and maintain at least 30-45 minutes between clients to ensure proper time for cleaning and rest (thus, my space is not considered a high traffic area). My Office Will be Closed through April 23, 2020 Per yesterday's Executive Order by Virginia Governor Ralph Northam, all non-essential businesses must close through 11:59pm April 23, 2020.
